“I transitioned to a Patient Experience Liaison in 2016, but what I have always valued the most during my entire time with Wellspring are the relationships I build and maintain with residents and families.”

Hope flows through us.

For over a hundred years, hope has been drawn from a proven, Christ-centered source, a source dedicated to changing lives, strengthening families and transforming communities.

We are Wellspring Lutheran Services. Our mission springs from this deep source – as old as the scriptures – equipping us to bring life-giving solutions today to those who thirst for hope. You can be confident that as we work together you will see positive outcomes.

So, please take a moment to learn how we can engage with you to fill a need in your life or in the lives of people you care about.

Wellspring Lutheran Services is excited to be featured at this year's @artprize, an open, independently organized international art competition which takes place for 19 days each fall in #GrandRapids, #Michigan. * * We want to say thank you to @brickandportergr, in the heart of Grand Rapids, for hosting our unique art piece entitled, #HOPE. Wellspring cares for #families all across the state of Michigan, and with Brick & Porter being a family owned business, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with them. * * "HOPE" was constructed at the @bigticketfestival in June 2016. Each element within the #mosaic is, in essence, its own work of art. Through the coming together of all of these little pieces, you can see just how #hopeflows through each one of us. This #artwork shows how multiple hands coming together brings hope to others. * * Head to Brick & Porter in Grand Rapids to check out Wellspring in #ArtPrize this fall - September 20-October 8. Remember to take a photo next to "HOPE" and post to Facebook tagging Wellspring! Brick & Porter 47 Monroe Center NW Grand Rapids MI, 49053

Eva is a resident at our Senior Living Campus in Saginaw. She enjoys helping out our housekeeping team a couple of times a week with folding laundry. It's so important that our residents know that this is their home and we encourage them to do what they love! In this case, Eva, all in her own asked if she could help fold laundry - and our housekeepers love the company! Thanks, Eva!

Congratulations to Ben Palmretuter, 16, for earning the highest achievement attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America. Ben is officially an Eagle Scout! * * To earn the Eagle Scout, Ben had to accomplish an Eagle Scout Service Project to demonstrate leadership of others while performing a project for the benefit of his community. * * Ben chose a project to benefit Camp Hope, Wellspring's free grief camp for children. Ben wanted to make blankets for the campers so that each child would receive a blanket the first day at camp to use at camp and take home. * * He planned and organized the project all on his own. Ben made and sold "survivor bracelets" to raise money for the materials needed to make the blankets, then he organized a group of volunteers that consisted of fellow scouts to help make the blankets. It was a success and each of our campers this summer was given a blanket - and each blanket was unique. * * Thank you so much, Ben for thinking of our campers and congratulations on earning your Eagle Scout! * * Ben is a junior this fall at Valley Lutheran High School, Saginaw.
