Welcome

Oakman Place in Detroit is a supportive housing community for homeless youth, homeless families and low-income families. It was inspired by the facts that 23% of foster care youth in Wayne County are homeless upon aging out of foster care, and 47% experience one or more periods of homelessness prior to age 20.

Oakman Place is located on Oakman Boulevard between Woodrow Wilson Street and Lincoln Street.
