Franklin Avenue Mission / Mercy House

The east side neighborhoods of Flint are home to some of our nation’s poorest and most underserved neighbors. Franklin Avenue Mission has been building deep roots and relationships in the community for nearly a decade, providing supports, training and love to the people of the Mission. Wellspring has partnered with Franklin Avenue Mission to open and operate Mercy House, a special home for formerly homeless teen moms and their children. Through Mercy House, families are provided safe housing and given opportunities to stabilize their lives through vocational training, schooling, mentoring and love. Moms graduate from Mercy House and move on to self-sufficiency.
