Whitney Frakes, LLMSW

Whitney Frakes, LLMSW, is a limited licensed clinical social worker with a Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. Whitney also holds a bachelor's in Community Health Education and International Studies from Northern Michigan University.

Whitney began her social work career in 2018, providing crisis intervention services to parents and children of all ages navigating the child welfare system. She began practicing individual therapy in 2022 and now supports people walking through a variety of life experiences. Whitney holds the C.A.S.E. Training for Adoption Competency certificate and is also working toward certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. She uses a combination of treatment models to best meet the unique needs of all of her clients. She believes therapy is not a "one size fits all," she she works collaboratively with clients to find the best fit for them.

Whitney loves empowering clients to achieve their goals in a realistic way and help them create long-term, sustainable change in their life. She recognizes the courage it takes to seek support and values the opportunity to build trust with all her clients. Whitney accepts clients as they are and is dedicated to supporting them at any stage of their healing journey. While she will always bring compassion and kindness to sessions, she also challenges clients to unlock their full potential.
