Alpena Pines is a joint mission between Wellspring Lutheran Services and Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). If you are 62 or older and meet specified income limits, rent is based on 30% of your adjusted gross annual income.

The Pines Apartments at Alpena Village

The Pines rental apartments feature one-bedroom/one-bathroom or two-bedroom/one-bathroom floor plans. Each apartment comes with a full kitchen that includes wood cabinets, a garbage disposal and a dishwasher. The community center is accessible to all residents. Rent includes heat, water and sewer.

The Community Center at Alpena Village

The Hearth Lodge Community Center is the focal point of the complex. Residents, families and friends gather for games, crafts, gardening, fitness equipment and a variety of functions. And it's only a short distance from all residences. There's even an on-site hair salon and barber shop to keep residents looking and feeling their best.

Eligibility Requirements

You must be at least 55 or older to live at Alpena Pines. Residents who are 62 years old or older and meet the specified income limits receive rent rates that are based on 30 percent of adjusted gross annual income. This is made possible through funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
