Cortney Kramer is a licensed professional counselor. She earned her bachelor’s in secondary education and her master’s in professional counseling from Central Michigan University.
Cortney has been with Wellspring since 2008 in various counseling and supervisory positions. She has worked with juvenile and adult sex offenders, families and individuals, as well as youth in a residential setting. At the foundation of Cortney’s counseling is a person-centered approach. While working with individuals or children, Cortney utilizes a variety of approaches, such as cognitive, behavioral, play and sand therapies. She is well-versed in Brief Solution-Focused therapy. In recent years, Cortney has supervised the Family Reunification Program at Wellspring, assisting families to reunify after involvement with the foster care system. She earned advanced certification in supervision, which has allowed her to lead others with connection, growth and authenticity.
