Kristen Smith, LMSW

Kristen Smith is a clinical licensed social worker who holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University.

After graduation, Kristen worked at Holy Cross Children’s Services as a family therapist working with children and families throughout Michigan.  After this, Kristen worked at a private agency as a foster care case manager and as the team leader for the family reunification program.  Kristen has been a therapist since 2013.

Kristen enjoys working with clients of all ages and stages of life.  Being trained in trauma focused CBT has allowed her to assist clients while they are dealing with and processing past trauma.  She has experience working with couples, people experiencing grief and loss, and other life challenges.
